HOWARD A. LEVINE AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN
JUVENILE JUSTICE AND CHILD WELFARE
The Award
was created in 1986 and is named for Court of Appeals Judge Howard A. Levine,
who in 1979 became the first chair of the then NYSBA Special Committee on
Juvenile Justice. Judge Levine has been
a strong proponent and leader in the effort to improve
